ACC now offers testing in its new 120,000 BTUH air conditioning psychrometric testing chambers located in Carrollton, TX.
The split psychrometric chambers are designed for testing both individual components or complete systems to show real-time performance, efficiency, and identify areas where optimization can be realized.
Examples include:
- Optimization of superheat and sub-cooling settings
- Monitoring of the system’s response to atmospheric and air density changes
- Effect measurement of ducting and distribution changes
- Accountability of the affect of refrigerant plumbing routing and sizing
- Evaluation of changes to component selection and orientation
- Blower and fan performance testing
- Compressor volumetric efficiency testing
ENVIRONMENTAL CONTROL SYSTEM TESTING
The facility is capable of testing a variety of air conditioning technologies, including split-systems, packaged air conditioners and heat pumps, compressor optimization, water cooled condenser systems, and refrigerant-to-water loops.
