Air Comm Corporation (ACC) was founded in 1987 to meet the needs of helicopter operators seeking solutions to problems commonly found in factory-installed environmental control systems. Today, ACC is the industry leader in the development and manufacture of state-of-the-art bleed air heaters and vapor-cycle air conditioners for turbine helicopters and fixed wing applicatons.
Our success is based on leading edge innovation and elegant design, with focus on quality and reliability, unparalleled customer support and unmatched value. Every Air Comm system is FAA approved via FAA Supplemental Type Certificate, or as part of the manufacturer’s aircraft Type Certificate.
Air Comm customers include Operators, Service Centers and Manufacturers. ACC provides OEM systems for Bell Helicopter Textron, Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, MD Helicopters (formerly Boeing Civil Helicopter), Enstrom Helicopters, Schweizer Aircraft and Agusta Aerospace Corporation.

Why install an ACC system in your
helicopter?
Over 25 years ago Air Comm Corporation began designing heaters and air conditioners in response to customer demands for solutions to problems with existing factory or aftermarket systems. Problems with competitor systems have included:
-
Inadequate heating or cooling
-
Unreliability
-
High maintenance costs
-
Fogged windows
-
Freezing feet
-
Plumbing leaks
-
Water and ice spitting from air outlets
-
Excessive weight
-
Excessive noise, power drain, fuel consumption, etc.
Today ACC provides the premier heating and air conditioning systems for a wide range of helicopters for both aftermarket and OEM customers. Installation of an ACC system greatly enhances aircraft value, and optimizes the safety, comfort and convenience of crew and passengers.
